Leonardo Da Vinci: A Man Before His Time Leonardo Da Vinci will always be notorious for his remarkable achievements during the Renaissance era. â€Å"He was a scientist before there was science, an inventor whose ideas outstripped the technology of his time, and a famous artist who produced the most valuable and recognized painting in the world.† (Krystek 2005) Even though, there are some people who think Da Vinci was simply an over glorified artist and claim that he was selected amongst a crowd of men that shared the same, if not better, skills than him (Williams 2016). However, Da Vinci will continue to prove himself during the Renaissance through art and science. He will also provide his services to powerful individuals and will do so until his very last day. He will have sketchbooks filled with his brilliant innovations and ideas. Also, a thirst of knowledge that will drive his success. Leonardo Da Vinci was the master of all trades and a genius in many fields. These are to include but not limit, science, archit ecture, and art. Leonardo had sketches in his books which proved that in all aspects, he was a man before his time and those sketches would be utilized and observed till this present day.
